♥ THE STORY

Lindsey & Devin are two of the sweetest people I have ever met. Their calm and adventurous demeanor bring out the best in anyone who strikes up a conversation with them. When it came to their wedding day, I knew it was going to be filled with great friends, lots of family, and the calm presence that they bring. We started out with Lindsey’s details in their camp before heading down to Devin to get him dressed. I wanted to showcase their love for camping and the outdoors by photographing all of her details in a natural environment. After finishing up with Devin and Lindsey getting her last button done, we were ready to head to their first look.

When it comes to coordinating a first look, I am as hands off as I can possibly be. This moment isn’t meant for me to interject but to let everything unfold naturally. They shared some sweet moments before calling upon their friends and family for their portrait time. When Lindsey saw her dad, it was definitely one of those moments that brought a tear to everyones eye.

Their ceremony was held on a small lake and from a photo stand point, the sun was on my side that day. The light was so beautiful on their faces while they exchanged their vows & rings. After they sealed their new future with a kiss, it was time to head off to the party and enjoy the rest of the night with their family & friends.

This wedding was so special to me, I could place myself in both of their shoes with the vibes that they brought to their day. I think all could use a bit more chill in our lives like Lindsey & Devin.
